Decline in elderly health can result in various health issues, including malnutrition. Elderly individuals are prone to developing diseases due to decreased physical function, balance, and increased risk of falls. Regular exercise or training programs can significantly improve the health status of older adults. Gentle physical activities, such as low-impact exercises, are suitable for seniors and can help improve balance by engaging all muscles and joints in regular movements.The Exercise Snack technique involves performing gentle movements twice daily, with five-minute intervals and a one-minute rest between each movement. The primary objective of exercise snacks is to facilitate physical exercise training and enhance muscle strength in older adults.
