Nurses are one of the main components in providing health services to the community. However, nurses' work motivation is often influenced by various challenges, such as high workload, work environment pressure, and lack of appreciation, which have an impact on the quality of health services. To overcome these problems, community service activities in the form of community outreach on improving work motivation for nurses at Mitra Medika General Hospital were carried out. This activity aims to provide nurses with an understanding of the importance of work motivation, factors that influence motivation, and strategies to maintain and improve work motivation amidst existing challenges. The method of implementing the activity includes the preparation stage, implementation of outreach, and evaluation. The outreach was carried out through educational sessions, interactive discussions, and evaluation of participants' understanding. The results of the activity showed that 78% of participants understood the material presented, and there was an increase in work motivation among the participants who attended. Participants gave a positive response to the outreach, shown through enthusiasm in the discussion and question and answer session. This activity went smoothly and achieved the stated goals, namely to improve the understanding and work motivation of nurses. This activity not only had a direct impact on participants, but also became a form of support for improving the quality of health services at Mitra Medika General Hospital. It is expected that similar activities can continue to be carried out sustainably to support the development of human resources in the health sector.
