Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the relationship between perceptions and attitudes of pregnant women about antenatal care. The sample in this study were 80 pregnant women by means of purposive sampling. The instrument used was a questionnaire on perceptions and attitudes about antenatal care. The results of the study were analyzed by correlating the perceptions of pregnant women with antenatal care visits at Sundari Hospital in Medan, the correlation coefficient value was 0.034 with a significant level of 5%, namely p value <α (0.034<0.05), then Ho was rejected, Ha was accepted. This means that there is a significant relationship between the perception of pregnant women and antenatal care visits at Sundari General Hospital in Medan. The results of the analysis of the attitudes of pregnant women with antenatal care visits at Sundari Medan Hospital in the correlation coefficient value is 0.911 with a significant level of 5%, namely p Value <α (0.911> 0.05), then Hodi is accepted Hadi is rejected. This means that there is no significant relationship between the attitude of pregnant women and antenatal care visits at Sundari General Hospital in Medan.
