Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Rasa Aman Nyaman Nyeri Dengan Tindakan Mobilisasi Dini Pada Pasien Appendiktomi Di Rumah Sakit TK II Putri Hijau Medan 2021

Abstract

Appendectomy is the surgical removal of inflamed appendix which performed quickly to reduce the risk of complications. Appendectomy will cause impaired sense of comfort (pain), it lasts for a long period. The way to deal with appendicectomy pain after surgery is by providing early mobilization. The design of the study used descriptive case study method. The intervention was implemented by providing early mobilization in patients with appendicitis.Early mobilization can increase circulation of blood which can lead to the reduction of muscle strength, joint and pain. It was conducted 6-10 hours after the patient awake by performing right and left tilt exercises, upper and lower extremity exercises, sitting for 5 minutes, and changing the supine to semi Fowler's in two patients after appendectomy with mild to moderate pain scale.The results obtained that the first patient with 4 (0-10) pain scale reduced to 1 and the second patient with 6 (0-10) was reduced to 1. Thus, the implementation of nursing care by providing early mobilization in patients with appendicitis was effective in overcoming the pain after surgery.
