Pendidikan Kesehatan Tentang Diet Hipertensi di Rumah Sakit TK II Putri Hijau Medan Tahun 2021

Hypertension is the blood pressure which the systole is more than 120 mmHg and the diastolic is more than 80 mmHg. Hypertension is most common at the age of 35-44 years (6.3%), 45-54 years (11.9%) , and 55-64 years limiting salt intake from not more than a quarter to half a spoon or 6 grams per day. Hypertension dietary is the method of reducing blood pressure and weight by suggesting the increasing of vegetables and fruits consumption. The purpose of study was to apply comprenhensive nursing process to the patients by providing health educatin about hypertension dietary at TK II Putri hijau Hospital Medan. Methods: The study used descriptive case study design on two patients with the same disease by including the stages of assesment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Result: Health education conducted on patients 1 and2, it was found that hypertension dietary was effetively help to reduce blood pressure by implementing hypertension dietary.
