Tuberculosis is the biggest cause of death after cardiovascular and respiratory tract disease, it takes the number one from the group of infectious diseases which is still being problem in Indonesia and in the world. There are several factors that cause the increase of tuberculosis patients, it is socioeconomic which very influential on the level of consumption and also plays important role in nutritional adequacy. One of the actions that taken by nurses to reduce the pulmonary tuberculosis incidence is by providing health education. The purpose of the study aimed to apply comprehensive nursing process by providing health education about the fulfillment of diet in patients with pulmonary tuberculosis at TK II Putri Hijau Hospital Medan. Methods: The study used descriptive case study design on two patients with the same disease by including the stages of assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation. Results: The patients could understand about diet and pulmonary tuberculosis. Conclusion: The study was conducted by providing health education about diet for pulmonary tuberculosis, it can increase the patients knowledge about diet and pulmonary tuberculosis. It is hoped that the patients can apply health education about diet for pulmonary tuberculosis in daily life.
