Perilaku Caring Perawat Dalam Memberikan Asuhan Keperawatan Pada Pasien Skizofrenia Paranoid Di Ruang Rawat Inap Rs Jiwa Prof.Dr.M.Ildrem Medan

Abstract

Paranoid Schizofrenia is one of the most common mental disorders compared to other types of Schizofrenia. So, the formulation in this research is how nurses caring bahivior in providing nursing care to Paranoid Schizofrenia patients in the inpatient room of the Mental Hospital of Prof.Dr.M.Ildrem Medan.The type of this research is observational analytic with cross sectional design. The study was located in the Mental Hospital of Prof.Dr.M.Ildrem Medan. The population of the study was all nurses inpatient of the Mental Hospital of Prof.Dr.M.Ildrem Medan in 2018 years amounted to 135 people. The sample size is 25% of the total study population of 30 people. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate with Chi Square. The results of the study are the majority of the level of good knowledge and negative attitudes, there is a relationship of knowledge  and attitudes towards nurses caring behavior in providing nursing care to Paranoid Schizofrenia patients in the inpatient room of the Mental Hospital of Prof.Dr.M.Ildrem Medan. The conclusion is a relationship between knowledge and attitudes with caring nurses inpatient behavior. It was suggested to the Mental Hospital of Prof.Dr.M.Ildrem Medan to make training program aimed at improving nursing Paranoid Schizofrenia patients
