Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a disease caused by SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2). Avoiding direct contact by implementing physical distancing or maintaining physical distanceThis study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of OTG patients (people without symptoms) and efforts to prevent infection with Covid-19 transmission at the Medan Sunggal Health Center. The design used in this study is a descriptive correlation design. The time to do this research is from March to May 2020 The method of data collection was done by distributing questionnaires conducted by the researchers themselves. respondents in this study were the community in the area of the Medan Sunggal Health Center totaling 47 respondents. Sampling was carried out by totalsampling, the statistical test used was chi square. The results of the study were that the majority of the knowledge of OTG patients (asymptomatic people) in this study were either 22 respondents or (46.8%), the majority of respondents in making efforts to prevent Covid-19 infection in this study were either 24 respondents or (51, 1%) and the relationship between knowledge of OTG patients (asymptomatic people) with efforts to prevent infection with covid-19 transmission at the Medan Sunggal Public Health Center with P = 0.000 which means there is a relationship
