Studi Kasus Pendidikan Kesehatan Kepatuhan Minum Obat Pada Klien Hipertensi Primer Di Rumah Sakit Tk II Putri Hijau Medan Tahun 2021

Abstract

Background Hypertension is a disease related to human blood pressure. In Indonesia the level of awareness of health is very low where there are many changes in the lifestyle of patients who do not realize that they suffer from hypertension, especially in consuming hypertension drugs. Due to the emergence of non-compliance in the consumption of antihypertensive drugs due to the length of treatment which can cause a sense of saturation in the patient. This research method uses descriptive research in the case study design including the stages of assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation on two clients with hypertension at TK II Putri Hijau Hospital, Medan. The results after nursing interventions were carried out in patient I and patient II for 3 days, there was an increase in knowledge related to medication adherence. The conclusion from the results of this study is an increase before and after health education regarding medication adherence in hypertensive patients. Suggestions from this study are that patients can apply how to take hypertension medication regularly.
