Pendidikan Kesehatan Tentang Perawatan Payudara Dengan Teknik Pemijatan Pada Ibu Hamil Trimester III Di Rumah Sakit Tk II Putri Hijau Medan Tahun 2021

Abstract

Breast care is a method to increase milk production. The important part that must be considered during the childbirth and the treatment is the therapy that prioritizes the flow of energy balance in the body  which is carried out to increase breast milk production by doing breast and oxytocin massage. Ineffective breastfeeding for infants will cause stunted, breast pain, and hard stools. The way to overcome the problem is to provide health knowledge about proper medical care  and pregnancy massage. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of health education by providing treatment and massage in pregnant womwn at TK II Putri Hijau Hospital Medan. The methods: The study used descriptive case study design by including  the stages of assessment, diagnosis, intervention, implementation, and evaluation in two postpartum patients. Result: The nursing care process was carried out on two pregnant women, it was showed that the pregnant women could understand and realize the proper treatment and massage techniques. Conclusion: It can be concluded that the patients could perform the proper treatment and massage techniques on the breasts.
