Pelaksanaan Pemberantasan Sarang Nyamuk DBD Di Desa Sunggal Kanan Kecamatan Sunggal Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

 DBD in Indonesia is an infectious disease that is endemic because the number of cases and patients continues to grow. DBD cases are increasing during the rainy season because of the increasing availability of breeding places for dengue vector mosquitoes. Family knowledge and motivation in the implementation of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever Nest Eradication (PSN DBD) is needed so that health efforts including 3M plus activities can reduce the incidence of DBD and create a clean and healthy environment.The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of family knowledge and motivation with the implementation of the eradication of dengue mosquito nests in the work area of the Simpang Kiri Health Center, Tenggulun District, sunggal kanan District. This research is an observational correlation study with cross sectional design. The population in this study were all family heads in the work area of sunggal kanan Health Center, Tenggulun District, deli serdang Regency as many as 524 households. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires and analyzed using Chi square test.
