Elderly who are diagnosed with Diabetes Mellitus (DM) require primary prevention, namely by doing regular foot care or foot self care to prevent complications in peripheral tissues. These leg exercises help improve blood circulation, strengthen leg muscles, and move the leg joints. The formulation of the problem is whether there is an effect of elderly foot exercise on peripheral diabetic neuropathic symptoms in the elderly at Manyak Payed Health Center, Sosa District, Puskesmas Manyak Payed Regency in 2022. This type of research was an experiment with a post test only design. The research was located at the Manyak Payed Health Center. The population is all the elderly who have their health checked at the Manyak Payed Health Center as many as 68 people. The sample size is 40 people. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate with the Wilcoxon test. The results of the study were that there were differences in peripheral diabetic neuropathic symptoms in the elderly before and after doing elderly foot exercises at the Manyak Payed Health Center, Sosa District, Manyak Payed Regency in 2022. The statistical test results obtained p <0.05. The conclusion is that there are differences in peripheral diabetic neuropathic symptoms in the elderly before and after doing elderly foot exercises. It is recommended for the elderly to always do foot exercises to prevent symptoms of peripheral neuropathy.
