Pengaruh Pendidikan Kesehatan terhadap Dukungan Suami pada Proses Persalinan di Puskesmas Perdagangan Kecamatan Bandar Kabupaten Simalungun Tahun 2020

Abstract

The process of childbirth really needs the support of the husband to give attention, feel safe, comfortable, enthusiastic, reassure the mother, reduce maternal tension and reduce labor pain and reduce morbidity in the mother during childbirth. This study aims to determine the effect of health education on husband's support in the delivery process at the Trade Health Center in Bandar District, Simalungun Regency in 2020. This study uses parametric statistical analysis with a Pre-Experimental Design approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design approach. The results of the study found that Husband's Support in the Delivery Process before being given Health Education at the Trade Health Center Bandar Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency in 2020 was in the poor category, Husband's Support in the Delivery Process after being given Health Education at the Trade Health Center Bandar Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency in 2020 was in the good category . The results of the Paired Sample –Test test obtained a p-value of 0.0001 < =0.05 then H0 is rejected, meaning that simultaneously there is the influence of husband's support on the labor process before and after being given health education at the Trade Health Center, Bandar District, Simalungun Regency in 2020. Suggestions in In this study, the Trade Health Center, Bandar Subdistrict, Simalungun Regency continues to carry out programmed health education and is carried out continuously to increase husband's support during the process of giving birth to his wife.
